How do I get off to the fastest start using Honch?

Your first 6 months of using Honch should be your best ever. Here's some useful tips on how to get off to the fastest possible start and fill your pipeline.

There are thousands of new prospects added to Honch on a weekly basis. From new hires, promotions, clients changing companies and countless Honch Lists coming out each month, you'll soon see that there are plenty of different ways to start using the platform.

Here's a couple of priority groups that we'd always recommend clients focus on, and then think about adding 1-2 new areas each month.

There are 3 key groups of prospects that we’d recommend you start off with:

🎉 New Appointments

Without exception, all clients tell us that this is where they get their best possible results. The best thing about being a new client is that you've got a backlog of 3-6 months worth of data here, all of which are still relatively new in their roles and open to approaches.

You can search and export these very simply and start building into new campaigns. Once you've got your campaign messaging right, you can then load new prospects into it on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

🚀 Promoted Buyers

Each month we track thousands of promotions in target accounts, all of which have just started new roles, with bigger responsibilities and bigger budgets. They've not just got more money to spend, but a newfound enthusiasm and gusto to start implementing new initiatives.

The right messaging and regular campaigns to this group of prospects will help to build pipeline quickly, and you've got a backlog of them for the last 6 months.

📋 Honch Lists

You’ve now got access to the full library of Honch Lists and every decision-maker within them. There are hundreds of these already from 2024, and we're putting out 3-5 new lists every month.

The idea of our Honch Lists is that they provide you with groups of prospects that you focus messaging on, allowing personalisation (and better cut-through) at scale.

Start slow here and build out - It's worth studying which lists are published monthly and the ones that fit your business. Start with one or two, get your campaigns performing well, and then roll out to other lists.

For example, start by targeting newly funded companies and create drip programmes for decision-makers in these businesses. Use a month's data in campaign 1 and then fine-tune after monitoring the results, then launch to another 3-4 months of data.

Once you're happy, you've then got new data each month to feed into the programme. Then you can start on newly certified B Corps etc.
